Network adapters not recognized

Hi folks,

I was having some trouble with my IBM T42 recently. After checking my disk and memory for errors, I decided to reinstall Windows XP on it.

After formating the disk and reinstalling windows, it seems that some devices were not found and installed. I cannot see my ethernet card or my wireless card in the device manager. It seems (I'm not sure) that the sound card is not recognized either.

Does anyone know what to do to fix this?

I managed to install the drivers manually from the Lenovo support website and now the network cards and sound card work.
