thinkvantage not getting coperation from motherboard ROMS

I want my 1.6 Ghz souped up T41 to give the required input to thinkvantage so I can get the drivers updated when required.
What programs do i need to update the formwares and also the iputs these programs would require.

Otherwise the cpu is doing fine for me with a total of 1.5 GB of memory and a 40 GB slow disk.
(I occasionalyy use it with a high speed , 12 GB seagate HD also

You need to install and run "system update, version 3.14" from the Lenovo site.

That should be Version 3.14
Anything newer than that is only for Windows 7.
