Anyone can confirm 4Gig is working on T42p?

Here it goes again ...
Will 4Gig of RAM work on T42p? I am thinking of upgrade to 2 X 2G sticks.
I am runing linux and can address all 4 so don't bother about mentioning XP intentional design flaw.

No... it won't, and I think there are no SODIMM PC2700 2GB in single stick.

The chipset limitation is 2GB.

Period.

There are NO 2GB PC2700 or PC3200 laptop DIMMs.

Period.
