T43 power issues

I have a T43 that has an odd power issue. Every so often it will just turn off for no reason, like the power plug is pulled on it with no battery. However, it has power. Then it won't power on for awhile, you have to unplug the battery and power and let it sit for some time then it wil be fine for awhile. I'm using it to write this post. Any idea what it might be. Hard Drive and Graphics appear fine one it. I picked it up cheap about $50 bucks so I can expect it ot have a problem, it works fine except for that power issue that seems to strike every other week or so. Another post http://forums.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=82361 had mentioned a ADP3205 chip for power issues. Anyone have an idea let me know.
