I need to buy a new battery for my T20 having bought one on E Bay in the Uk that has been hopeless!
So - wondered if anyone could suggest somewhere to buy one that would give me a really long battery life - and not have a problem with IBMs bios - which I understand batteries can, if theyre not bought from IBM.

rofl- After the thinkpad 600 nonsense I will never buy genuine IBM batteries.
I haven't bought any batteries for my T20 yet though.
I think the main thing to watch out for is what make of cells the batteries have- until somebody who really knows what they are talking about and isn't from any company associated with IBM or Panasonic tells me that panasonic cells are ok I will continue to avoid them like nothing else.

I recently refurbished my original IBM battery pack for the T20.
Actually, opened it and replaced the old cells with brand new ones. No problems. Always exchange the whole set.
The cells were the usual Matsuhita CR 18650 cells (Panasonic). Sony or Sanyo cells are kind of the the same.
You can use ultra-high power cells (bit more expensive) and they hold over 4h on the T20.
