I have a T42 without fingerprint reader (2373-JXG).
Is there a way (except to use PCMCIA) to install the IBM fingerprint reader to the keyboard bezel?
I got the answer from IBM, that change the bezel is not enough, because there is no connection on my motherboard to the fingerprint reader.
If I remember well (I had a T42 with fp reader 2373-F1G), there was no connector for the fingerprint reader on the MB, only the keyboard connector.
Do you think I can install a FP reader into my thinkpad?
Thanks in advance!
