I restored my T41p to factory settings. There was a service partition created by IBM Rapid Restore Ultra. I thought once the machine is restored to factory settings the partition will be reformated and so I did. But, after the restoration...My C drive is showing...
Total space 31.5GB
Free Space 25.1GB
The total disk space should be around 51GB I suppose.
Where is my other 20GB of space which the service partition was occupying?
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET BACK THE PRECIOUS 20+ GB DISK SPACE?
I would highly apprciate anyone helping me out with detailed procedure to recover that 20GB space.
Hard Drive details: 60GB 7200RPM drive

I can think of three possibilities:
1. Make all folder/files visible and delete by hand any RR related backup files (a bit dangereous).
2. Run R&R delete all backups you have created.
3. If you have the recovery CDs: delete all parititions and run the CDs, don´t forget to change the boot order first.
