Selling Thinkpad T41 with potential issues?

I have various issues with my Thinkpad, some are minor (CD optical drive, wifi card not working all of a sudden) and some are potential (or unknown).

How much should I list my Thinkpad if I sell it?

It works, boots up... I don't know if there will be issues with the hard drive or GPU or not (HDD might be clicking).

It is working so it's not exactly 'for parts' condition but buyer would be getting something maybe in decent condition or maybe deteriorating.

I'm just wondering what laptops in this kind of shape sell for.

Look at completed auctions (not BIN) on ebay to see what people are paying for T41 models with similar specs and condition to yours. And check out what is being paid for similarly spec'ed machines in excellent condition, maybe even with the seller offering some kind of warranty, then deduct whatever you think is fair for the deficiencies your has. You can probably figure what a new HDD would cost a buyer, and if it needs the GPU reflowed, that runs around $75-100 maybex So just decide what you think is fair as a starting point, and indicate that you are willing to negociate, then wait for offers to start coming in.
