Screen problem - part of the screen is dark

I have a T42 with the 1400x1050 screen. The screen became dark and after realizing it is not the inverter I bought a screen which came from T41p. Everything
went fine and it worked without any problem but after few weeks suddenly the right third part of the screen stopped working. It is black and from time to time I see there vertical lines or just a jumping picture for few seconds and then it returns to be dark.
Could you suggest anything I can do to solve the problem?
Should i replace the screen or it can be other part?

Most likely the LCD or the LCD cable. Try reseating the cable on both ends first.
