Quick question, T40 to T43 upgrade posible?

I have a T40, the mainboard is not totally ok since battery doesn´t charge. Moreover I´ll need expresscard on the near future so:
Could I upgrade my laptop to a T43 using my screen, keyboard, bezel etc..? so buying the base+motherboard+cpu sets that often are on ebay? I have just realized that lcds,keyboards, etc are being sold the same for T40,T41,T42,T43...? Or are bad item descriptions?

You can put a T43/R52 mobo in your T40.
However, you need a different CPU (533MHz instead of 400), different RAM (DDR2 instead of DDR), different PCMCIA cage and probably also a different CD cage.

I think you'd better buy a used T43...
DIY is fun ,but usually bring problem....
