Is the infamous 2010 Error serious

Is there any deeper problem with getting the 2010 error than just the annoying message? If the non-Lenova drive works can I just go around the error?

Just the annoying beep noise/error. If it doesn't bother you then put whatever 2.5" IDE laptop hard drive you want in the T43.
