Restart on resume from suspend

Lately I observed, that when I resume my computer from suspsend after a longer period of time (few hours) the computer restarts instead of returning into windows.

Also I takes quite a long time from the time when I press the on/off button to windows. The screen is blank, sometimes disk or wlan LED flashes. After maybe one/two minutes the computer either returns to Windows or restarts.

I'm using Windows 2003 Server, and haven't had this problems from the beginning. I'm suspecting a program that can be responsible for this. Can anyone tell me if there is a program that traces the suspend/resume process and can write some kind of log file.
