my t40p wants no longer start -cheep code- need technican

hi thinkpad support community,
my thinkpad t40p wants no longer start, it beeps as fallows: ---- ---- ---- ---- (4x4 short)

i tried a reflow of southbridge/gpu, a exchange of the sec.chip and checked all fuse, but all without effect.

i hope someone can me help. (if necessary with pn)

Seems there has been a flood of bad MOBO's lately, sorry to hear of yours giving trouble. You seek a technician, which I am not but can offer this:

a quick check of th HMM (39t6192_01.pdf) reveals the security chip was compromised, but I am curious. Did the four beeps happen before you reflowed, or did you reflow and then the beeps?

yes the beeps were before my reflow action, btw i'm not a newbie and have good experience with smd/bga solderings at mobile phones.

i know inside out the NMM from the T4X-series.
there stands, that the 4x4 code is a problem with the sec.chip (AT97SC3....) because that i exchanged it as first from a other T40p to test it. and i know, if i want exchange the sec.chip i must replace the bios chip too because the tpm signature, but at these case i would became a 0192error and not a black screen with 4x4 beeps.

i hope somebody has a suggestion for my problem.
