Metal (Aluminum/Titanium) Cases for TP?
Anyone know of a decent one? Something slim, bare minimum in size yet strong protection..

Unfortionantly they do not meet the size requirement. Infact a Pelican case would be a lot better choice if I was willing to carry a 4" case around. I see nothing special in those cases and outragous prices. What I had in mind was something very slim, using thin aluminum and construction like an aluminum clip board with thin foam padding to prevent scratching. Am I dreaming?

I got one of these awhile back and the T42 "double-sleeve" combo (nested Sumdex sleeves from other thread) & AC Power supply just fit:

(you would of course have more space with a single sleeve)
ETA: looks like he has silver ones also, not quite the quality of a real Zero-Halliburton but for $50....

@Kanate: looks closest to what I had in mind.. for $30 I'll give it a try and report in.
@Zip: I like the first case a lot. I'll certainly investigate those as well.
None of them come quite to the simplicity I desired but they all seem very nice none the less. As for inner or light weight cases, you can't beat the ones you are nesting though I am just using the small size.

Anyone know if Aluminum Cases w/o the handle exist?
If they only made something like this:
http://www.zerohalliburton.com/computer ... PM5-SI.jsp
But bigger (ie. to fit a laptop) it would be sweet...

Granted, I don't have any experience with other aluminum cases, but I have a Zero Halliburton and I love it. It's great looking, very durable, and offers a lot of protection. Yeah, it probably wasn't most responsible purchase I've ever made, but the thing oozes quality and also carries a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations for the OP, but if anyone else is considering a Zero Halliburton, don't dismiss it until you give a close look to one.
