how to find old official drivers?

I will to download the old driver's audio for W98FE for T42. In the web page of driver IBM only the last version, for the others version?

if the last is v.3, I will driver number 1 and 2, and so 2.1 2.5 etc

used to be able to get this file: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/allfiles.txt
and find most anything, especially older versions of many drivers, but, sadly that doesn't work anymore... at least in my experience.

maybe someone will post a newer method to get at the historic archive.

it may help if you are looking for a file from 2006 or earlier. Don't know where (or if) lenovo keeps an 'allfiles' list from 2007 on ... would be nice to know!
