t43 ram upgrade

i got a 2GB PC2-6400 ram , can i use for my t43, does it slow down my laptop because t43 uses PC2-4200 ram

Your laptop may not even boot with that stick, but you can give it a shot.

Regardless of the RAM you install (PC2-4200/5300 etc) your machine will always run at 533Mhz which is the speed of its motherboard.
