Broken hinge on ThinkPad T42

The left hinge on my T42 (2373) broken during routine opening; everything still works fine. I need to keep using it and so need to get it fixed pretty quickly before I damage the wires to the display (or some such). Ordered on ebay what was promised as T42-14"replacement hinges (P/n 91P8388), but they didn't/don't look right. Took them to a repair guy and he agreed the hinges are wrong ... maybe for something larger & wider, but they don't have a part no. on them, so who knows. Question: Any suggestions on a reliable, quick source for replacement hinges? Is there other specific info I need to provide? Thanks for any help. Stephen

FRU# 91P8388 - both hinges - $48.50 from Lenovo directly.

Since they're relatively cheap on ebay, it might not hurt to give it another shot. A couple weeks ago I picked up a left hinge for my T43 for $4. Seller doesn't currently have it in stock, but for reference got it from http://myworld.ebay.com/rare_laptop_parts_2010/.

Thanks for the ideas. I ordered the hinges again; this time from acsparts.com, confirming the FRU# with them. If it doesn't work out, I'll be back here next week. Stephen
