does anybody know whether i can connect a dual external monitor to a t42 and enable extended desktop, giving me, in effect, 3 screens? thanks.

Not without a multi-head video card installed.

would i need a 'dual-head' or a'multi-head' video card? I assume, as is, laptops such as t42 have dual-head to enable an external display in addition to the tft laptop screen? or is that handled differently? At the moment, I have a t42 with ATI mobility Radeon 9600 / 64mb. thanks.

just saw http://www.digitaltigers.com/tigervista-trio17n.shtml - wow that would be awesome in conjuction with a t42!
