Headphone plug and Port Replicator II

Hi,
I have a T42 with a Port ReplicatorII and it seems that when it is docked my headphone plug does not work while the microphone does.
Is it ''normal'' or do i have a hardware problem?

You mean the headphone plug on your machine or the headphone plug on the port replicator?

When my T30 is docked the audio goes out through the jack on the Port Rep. However, I never tried the jack on the actual machine when docked to see if it works too. I'll give it a shot later when I get home.

Well actually i am quite dumb
The headphone plug (yes that's the one) was up and running BUT the volume on the thinkpad was set on its lowest. Therefore i couldn't hear a thing while i was able to listen to music on my speakers plugged to the dock station!!!
Strange behavior but that seem to be the way it is !!!
