got 2010 error on my t43 , please help to get rid of it

We just discussed this ( http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=85693 ) and it seems like there is no solution for it. One user thought he knew the solution, but that turned out to be a misunderstanding.

By using the newest BIOS version, you can set it to bypass the error and continue booting automatically , without the need for user interaction. But the error message and the beeps will not go away. If you can not live with the error, you need to get a compatible hard drive.
