Controlling wireless connection with Window wireless connect

When I open the wireless connection icon in the system tray then click on properties, then advanced, I see in the middle of the page an "internet connection sharing title." This box is unchecked yet I am able to share my connection thru my house, what gives?

This would let another PC/laptop connect to your PC/laptop and share its internet connection, rather than get its own connection (wifi or wired).
Nothing to do with the house, that is covered by the router's signal.
