resolution 1024X768 on 15 inch

Will 1024X768 be blurry on a 15 inch laptop? I had 1400x1024 on my 14 inch and found the text to be too small.

If the 15" panels native resolution is 1024X768, there is no reason for it to be blurry. Now, if you run a SXGA+ or UXGA panel at XGA res. it might look a little soft (blurry). I've recently be using a A30P with UXGA panel that just will not display the native res., (some kind of GPU issue) so I've been using it at SXGA and it looks surprisingly good. I also used to have a R51 with 15" XGA panel that looked good. My friend that has it now has poor eyesight, and finds it to be ideal for him.
Collection = T500 - R400 - X300 - X200 - T61 (14" WXGA+) - T61 (14.1" SXGA+) - T60 (15" SXGA+) - X40 - T43p - T43 - T42p - A30P - 600E

Most text sizes can be changed, one way or another.

I find high resolution screens easier on the eyes. The trick is to avoid tiny fonts, and instead try for medium, or small if you are up to it.

Using 1400x1050 and "medium" size text, I am able to see more on the screen and see it without extra strain, compared to using a monitor that is 1024x768 and "large" fonts. The sharpness of the formation of the letters make them easier to read.

No specific definition of "medium" or "large" here, just sharing my general experience.
