T42p Audio Line In

Hi,
I'm just trying to install the TV-USB adapter I recently bought and while the picture by USB seems to work fine, I get no audio by the line-In. I've checked in the capture software that the audio is set to SoundMax Digital Audio, while I cannot set the source to the line in. I've installed the latest audio driver from IBM's homepage, so what to check next to ensure it's not a hardware bug (I never ever used the line in any further).

Hi,
just an additional question:
For my former A31p I just plugged a signal to Line-In and heard it on the speakers without having any recording software running.
Is it identical for the T42p? (It just doesn't work...)

Hi,
just found my mistake I made. The T42p does no longer have a line in as the external audio in is the microphone in, thus the audio settings must be set accordingly...
