Update Connector v6.1 - wierd or what?

Hi All,

I recently clicked on Update Connector to see if it would get past the 66%, and strangely it did after nearly 30 minutes! But, when it returned the updates it showed 'ThinkPad IBM Active Protection System v1.23' which is an earlier version of one that is installed (1.30). What is going on?

Hi Ranjit-

I've given up on update connector. It doesn't find recent updates, and as you've noticed, this sometimes means it finds "updates" that are older than what you've got.

At this point I just visit the driver site every couple weeks and download anything new, then either install it manually, or use the Thinkpad Software Installer. Sometimes TSI will succeed where a manual install fails.
