T42P Maximum 7200 RPM Hard Drive Size

I have an IBM Thinkpad T42P (2373-N37) with a 60 GB 7200 RPM hard drive and I'm almost out of space. Does anyone know the largest size 7200 RPM hard drive my T42 will recognize?

I checked with one of our Forum T4x experts for this quote: "T42 will happily take a 320GB drive."

Apologies, the largest 7200rpm hard drive was 100GB, I provided the wrong info to emtee3511. The 320GB drives are 5400rpm.

The newer 320GB drives will have better throughput, but the latency won't be as good.

Thank you, George -- you are always so quick to help, and my PM may not have made the 7200rpm clear -- still a good buy for your 80gb PATA's -- all depends on how much space is needed
