T41p trackpoint loosing settings after standby

#1 Post by ashat » Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:30 pm

I correct the report of my issue.

On a T41p with a XP Pro installation not from the hidden partition, I have downloaded and installed the IBM/Lenovo driver for the Ultranav. But each time I put on sleep (Fn+F4), the trackpoint looses settings, for example the sensitivity to pressure that I put to the maximum goes back to the middle.

The same does not happen on complete switch-off/switch-on.

Anybody has an idea of what I could try to check/correct to solve this problem?

Nobody here has an idea of what could cause this problem?
I am really bored by this, I am used to put on sleep many times all over the day, and I can't stand to correct the mouse setting each time. Really any idea about it?

As a wild guess: after you make your changes, shut down the system completely, so these settings are permanently 'registered'.
Then boot up again, go to Sleep/Wakeup and see what happens then...

I am confused, after various attempts it happens sometimes on standby/sleep but not all the times.
Could it be it depends on the duration of the sleep?

Saw this: http://forums.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.p ... 82&start=0

Have you also installed the UNAV Utility, the Trackpoint software and the Hotkey features?
