T43p Screen issue

I have a 15" T43p with Flexview.

In both the lower left and right corners, it's exhibiting a dark section. The best description I can do is it looks like someone held a candle to the corner - a bit darker in the corner, spreading and feathering out as it goes up (ca 1/2 inch).

Does this suggest the LCD itself, the inverter or the CCFL backlight?

Any/all help is greatly appreciated.....

That's aging of the LCD itself, a well-known minor problem with those Flexview screens.
Live with it, or replace the LCD.
