how to switch off T41 lcd but keep computer working ?

Is ther any function key which does that.
I have a T41 2374-7fu with windows 7(!).
I use it as internet downloader and sometimes downloading Microsoft MSDN's goes on for Hrs.
I presume I should switch off theCCFL lcd during these times.

FN + F3 = shut off display - however mouse vibrations would bring it back in an instant
FN + F7 switch between notebook display and external display, however it will turn off the internal LCD. You'd have to hit this key combination twice to get it back.

yes... But they are not working with my setup...
Is there any special software required....?
the Fn key works for F5(wireless ..) and brightness controls.

Huh..what is that....?
My T41 is extra special (thats why I still use it...). I cant do auto update because the model type returned from the bios...is ^&*. I manually fetched the drivers last time for windows 7.
Everthing else works fine including the video (With the Driver Harry pointed to).
