T40P, broken LCD, can I fit any LCDs?

Hello,

Yes, I broke my LCD screen, stupid thing I know....
Anyway, I would like to replace it.
my T40p is a 273-G1G and it is a SXGA+.

I understood I can fit any t40/41/42 screens XGA or SXGA+. Are they other thinkpad LCD model I could fit in?
Like t43, R50, etc.. ?

Welcome to the forum.
You can fit any SAME SIZE LCD from the T4x or R5x series, as well as from the T60, be it XGA or SXGA+
However, if you want to fit an XGA screen, you also need an XGA LCD-cable.
Inverter is the same for both.

Somebody know, if is possible to fit also 14" (4:3) XGA or SXGA+ screens from Dell Latitude D600 series? (I mean panel itself)

Those Dells use LTN141P4-L01 LCDs, which do NOT work in a T4x.
I got one for free, and tried. No go...

And the UXGA LCDs do not work with the T40p, even with a cable change
