which motherboard for t43?

If you've seen my other thread then you'd know my T43 has a southbridge chip that doesn't connect properly anymore. I'll probably try the GPU fix stickied for fun. I expect it to fail since I'm new to that kind of thing.

So I will probably need to just buy a replacement motherboard for my T43 with ati videocard (1400x1050). When I do a search for replacements I find different model numbers like 39T0464 or 39T5636. How do I know which model is right for my T43?

You know the type of your own T43 (on the bottom). Match this up with the corresponding mobo in the HMM.
All ATI mobos can do SXGA+ and better.
All Intel boards can do only XGA.

The ATI mobo can do SXGA+ and better.
The Intel mobo can do XGA, as well as SXGA+ on 15" LCDs (but NOT on the 14.1" models)
