Difference between these two "High Capacity" batte

#1 Post by fbrdphreak » Sun Mar 06, 2005 1:12 pm

9-cell Battery Model #: 92P1102 10.8V/7.2AHr
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/store ... logId=-840

"High capacity" 9-cell Battery Model #: 08K8197 10.8V/6.6AHr
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/store ... &storeId=1

Have all 9-cells previous to now only had 6.6AHr's? I heard that IBM is refreshing their batteries for the T43 to help with battery life, is this it? Thanks in advance

Apparently the T43 6 cell is 4.8 AHr vs. 4.4 for T42

You're right; I guess the rumor that they made the batteries better is true. I bet you can use these higher capacity batteries for the T42's also!

I'm glad I held out for a high cap. battery! I wonder if there is any advancement in the way these new high caps age..
