t42 15" lcd thinkpad

Was offered a good price by a friend on a 15" t42 thinkpad type 2373-JXU
I have many parts for t40 and t41 14" thinkpads
My question is will a cdrw/dvd drive from a 14" t40 or t41 fit into this 15" thinkpad described above? What parts from t40/t41 14" models Will Not work/fit with this 15" t42? (can I swap the formatted hdrive from a t40 and place it in the t42 and boot into windows?)

Apart from the plastics (14" base/LCD/keyboard/HD-cover v. 15" base/LCD/keyboard/HD-cover) all other parts will fit.
