You need a SATA Ultrabay adapter for a SATA drive. Then it will work fine in your T43. It will run at 1.5Gb (at best) though.

BTW, no drive will give a "2010 error" in the Ultrabay, just in the main slot.

What I was referring to was not the CPU, but the transfer speeds from that potential UltraBay drive...
