2378fvu $1,439.10 thru credit card or edu discounts

The 2378FVU has come down to $1,439.10 thru IBM's credit card and edu discounts.

Did a price check to see if a T42 2773M3U has come down in price since I bought one, for 30 day price protection. No. I'm happy with the purchase.
IBM T42 2373M3U - that's broken and needs to be replaced

Thanks for the info, although I am a little saddened because I paid $1768 for mine, but that was in Aug '04. Ha ha...

Bah, all you Americans please stop whining! A similar model here costs around $3k, and you whine about the $200-300 extra for not having friends?
