Upgrading Processors

Is it possible to switch out the cpu on a t41p? What is the fastest processor that i can put in? and is there anything i should be aware of when looking for processors? Thanks.

you can put a dothan chip in it as long as it is 400mhz bus

Yea, you should be aware of the fact that you probably won't see enough of a performence difference to justify the price of a CPU upgrade :) I heard of some people upgrading early 1.3GHz T4x CPUs to Dothans, which makes more sense... But to go from a 1.7GHz on a T41p to even the fastest CPU that's available for it, won't make a big difference...
