Flasing New 60gb 7200rpm to IBM Firmware and Cloning

#1 Post by forum83 » Tue Sep 14, 2010 12:43 pm

Model HTS726060M9AT00 60gb 7200rpm

I have tried to flash it to the IBM firmware with no luck using the the ISO from IBM.

How do I manually flash the firmware for this drive?

Also I did a clone using True Image and get the 2010 error... I bypass the error and get the black screen with the white cursor.

Please help.

Thanks

Well, you've got (2) problems here. First you are getting the 2010 error. See this thread for some guidance -

For cloning, there must be hundreds of threads here about how to do it on a Thinkpad. The new/target drive must be installed in the Thinkpad, and the old drive must be attached externally prior to cloning.
