Battery stuck at 44% :(

Sorry to bother you guys (I'm sure this is a dumb problem), but my battery doesn't seem to charge past 44% (it was fine charging up until today). Is there some basic troubleshooting I can do myself? Thanks for your time.

Did you try it when it was cold ? IBM batteries has an overheating fuse. I charged my battery and it stopped at 70% and whooops it was at 70% for hours. I called IBM and they told me it's quite normal when battery is warn.

Let it in calm and try it again when battery is cold. Maybe it will work then.

No need for troubleshooting, it just happens sometimes. Take the battery off, put it back on on plug the laptop in. It will start recharging again.
