DVD Driver

Hello All,

I installed Win 7 Ult. on this T40 w/1.5 proc. 1.5gib ram. Everything works except the dvd drive, it works as though it's a CD drive (Hitachi hl-gcc-4242n-r4). I hit up the IBM site for drivers and it's only for XP. would like some help with this, please

Install and run System-Update V4.0.

What do you mean by "works as though it's a CD drive"? You cannot read DVDs?
