I tried on the Device Manager to disable/re-enable various devices, but nothing happens.
How can i find out what could be the problem?
Is there any program, for example what shows the bad driver?
A have some bad sectors on the middle of my hdd. But i dont use this particion.
Is it be a problem?
Robert

Re: DPC latecy too high IMB T42
The bottleneck could be a nearly full Toshiba HD, a slow Toshiba (probably 4200rpm ?), or way too many programs installed/uninstalled.
Try and run CCleaner (free on the web).
Quite often a fresh install of Windows performs wonders...
At idling speed, CPU shouldn't even be more than 1-2%.
Have you done a thorough antivirus/antimalware check?
Maybe your laptop has been converted to a 'zombie' without your knowledge? (to do a simple test, run some heavy programs without any internet connection, i.e. wifi off and ethernet cable removed; any better?)

when i said since 2 month, i mean when i had intalled xp, base apps, drivers..., i got this fault.
When i running a game there isnt any fault, just when i surfing on the net, or sometimes when i watch a film from WD hd.( this DPC problem is not constant, i dont know why but sometimes my laptop runs perfecly, maybe when the pc have run for 3-4 hours, but sometimes this problem pops up.
I also belive the Toshiba HD could be faulty, but i dont want to buy a new hd still i havent recognise the problem for 100 per cent.
