Tigerdirect.com has 15" T-42 on special, $329.99, about $8 S\H... These are off lease units. My 14 years of experience with Tigerdirect is they honor their general 30 day satisfaction guarantee and their off-lease and refurbished products are class 'A', like new. RB-NBK-055146-AO

Re: T-42 Special While supplies last
Only they sell these machines for about twice as much as they are worth if you judge by the going price on these forums. A "like new" T42 is still outdated and likely to fail, and the 15" XGA LCD is a show stopper for many...

Re: T-42 Special While supplies last
I've just purchased off-lease T400 for my mother. $480, the condition is also class 'A' like new (there is not even any wear on the rubberised lid, and the hinges are tight), there is 2 years of original Lenovo warranty left. 14" 1440*900, X4500MHD, 2GB, 160GB, C2D 2.53GHz, 9-cell battery... i don't see the point of purchasing such an T42, especially considering these graphics unsoldering problem i've heard about.BruisedQuasar wrote:Tigerdirect.com has 15" T-42 on special, $329.99, about $8 S\H...
