wireless on T22 win2K: which wireless network?

#1 Post by zver17 » Thu Mar 17, 2005 3:52 pm

The wireless on my T22-win2K runs fine as far as transmission goes. However, I have no indea/control over which wireless network is it actually connecting to (we have about 6-10 networks active at any time due to neighbours etc.). is it just win2k limitations or am i missing some drivers/softeware?

I don't know about any IBM specific software, but you could download the Boingo sniffer software from boingo.com. That will display the various wireless networks in your area and allow you to choose the one to connect to. It will also allow you to save profiles for the networks you connect to (e.g., the WEP keys required). You do have WEP or WAP protection on YOUR network, don't you?
