What are Good Cleaning Materials?

#1 Post by ParatoOptimal » Fri Jan 14, 2011 7:23 pm

What's good to clean around the keys, bezels, palm rest and the over all body of my T41?
Is Windex (window cleaner) with a micro fiber cloth good for large areas and Windex on a 1-tip good around the keys?
Windex can be had with ammonia or with vinegar or would a green, biodegradable product be better?

Thank you

This link might help you...I only use Windex on the top and bottom covers. I spray it on a clean white terry cloth...never spray directly on the ThinkPad. Canned spray air does a good job dusting and getting junk out.

The wisdom of ancient topics:

You'll notice a few commonly-suggested techniques reoccurring. I would
say you should try out several of them to find the one you like best.

I have used lenses cleaner bought at Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club sprayed on a microfiber cloth. It works really well. For the outside top I use furniture polish after I have cleaned it with the lenses cleaner.
