I think the price differs from state to state.. some states are cheaper than others.

Could you list the specific steps to get the price? I'm in NY State and am still getting the $1703 price. Thanks.

Here are the steps.
1.) http://www-1.ibm.com/gold/portal/servle ... ge=Welcome
2.) Select, "New York"
3.) I go to SUNY so I selected, "SUNY PCs for home purchase"
4.) Enter, "266846U", in the Quick buy window.
