About the fingerprint software's black bar in logon screen

Hello,

Just wondering if it is possible to remove the black bar saying "scan finger" or something like that from the logon screen? I know it is caused by ThinkVantage fingerprint software, but I didn't find an option in the settings to make it disappear. The reason behind wanting the black bar to vanish is my custom logon screen since those two really don't match too well together.

I have T43 and XP Pro.
