Hi! I just bought my first IBM Thinkpad T42 2374-E18.

I am happy now. I just download software updates for this model.

Congrats! In case you haven't figured it out, we have a tendency to like things that start with "think" and end with "pad" around here. :wink:

for people (usually guys) who appreciate a fine piece of hardware (design, assembly, fit and finish and more) a thinkpad is almost a work of art..
