shift + F5 issue

#1 Post by rablaw » Wed Mar 23, 2005 6:49 pm

Suddenly, when I press Shift + F5, I no longer get a window allowing me to turn wireless on/off. I can't get it back.

Help, Please.
Thanks.

Make sure access connections is turned on, and try Fn-F5, not shift-F5

I meant to say Function.
You may have something-- I just noticed that the IBM aaccess key does not work. Nothing happens when pressed. How do I turn it on?

Thanks.

This should be what you need:

Hotkeys features.

This said, you may need other software if you have just "clean installed". Is this on an IBM preload?

I'lll check out your link.
Have had my T42 since Nov. 2004 and yes, its pre-loaded. no problem until yesterday. Also, noticed the fingerprint screen that always appeared on startup is gone. It was annoying, but I hate to think I picked up a virus.

Thanks again
