Check whether or not this component appears in the network connections dialog in Windows XP since this would indicate that the component was probably not properly installed. You don't need Access connections in order to connect to anything and you probably don't need to use any third party utilities from Conexant either. But if Windows can connect with it, then Access Connections should be able to as well.

Yes, this component appears in network connections dialog, and I am using it without any problems but without Access Connections.

Obviously I would like to use Access Con.

I am little suspitious on that USB port...

Acctualy my question can be: What are experiences using Access Connections with any USB device?

:?

I tried using Access Connections on a PCMCIA card (Sony Ericsson) and it screwed up Access Connections pretty badly. The only cure I eventually found (after uninstalling and reinstalling) was to purchase and run Registry First Aid. Be very careful. If it is not on Access Connection's supported list, it may not be a good idea to try it. ... JD Hurst
