Hard drive size 9mm or 2.5

hi i have a t20 and it needs a new hard drive but i dont know how thick to get is it 9mm or 2.5

9mm refers to the thickness of the drive..
2.5 inch refers to the platter diameter..

the T20 will take a 12mm thick drive..

Much as I hate to correct Leon, the T20 will take both 9mm and 12mm thick HDs.

we tend to menting the MAX that any particular thinkpad will accept..
so, to be more sussinct, i should have said UP TO and including 12mm..
