disk error??
disk error??
i don't know what happened but my laptop seems to be dead. when i turn it on it say's "disk error occured, restart by clt alt del", but i restart and get the same thing?? is my hard drive dead??

Could you post what model ThinkPad you have? If you press the 'Access IBM' button on bootup, can you get the the pre-desktop area to run diagnostics?
I think I've seen the error you describe before on my old Dell Latitude CPi. Unfortunately, the disk was not recoverable from that failure
