battery icon always orange, battery in good condition.

Is it time to raise money to buy a new battery?.
it suddenly started showing only orange after i had some trojan problem reporting
memory address erro.I threw the creature out but the battery icon is always orange now.
Any clues as to what is going on.
I use it ,most of the time connected to the Ac mains.So I am in no mood to invest in a
new battery ...Now.

Since a trojan was involved, you may have a corruption issue.
